2014 saw CFS Events Ltd run a large charity event in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, in Hertfordshire. The event was a huge success, raising around £25,000 on the night through the running of a raffle, auction and silent auction.
CFS Events donated time and resources to making this event a triumph. The Events Team used their usual expertise and events management tools, including online registration to enable attendees to book their places quickly and efficiently and even allowed them to pay a deposit for whole table bookings at the Charity Dinner.
Targeted marketing for the event meant that all 320 tickets were sold within 5 hours of the registration system opening – a huge achievement and a real boost for morale in the lead up to the event!
To everyone involved in Charlotte’s Ball 2014 – thank you so much for all that you did to help make it such a huge success.

INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR PHARMACEUTICAL ENGENEERS (ISPE) ANNUAL CONFERENCE, TABLE TOP EXHIBITION AND AWARDS DINNER
2014 saw the ISPE Southern Region Committee take on the ISPE annual event hosted in Brighton’s Hilton Metropole Hotel. The main focus for the event was not only to maintain the success and high standard of previous years but to continue to grow the reputation and value of the event to ensure improved future attendance and many years of exiting networking opportunities. CFS Events responded by delivering another fantastic event with a conference dinner that will be hard to beat in 2015!
Although the venue was a fantastic blank canvas for our requirements it was not without its challenges. A building-works scare kept stress levels high during the build up to the event, along with the need for a power supply installation in the small hours before the meeting, but everything was calm and under control by registration, as expected!
The evening dinner looked fantastic thanks to a brilliant audio visual set up and excellent mood lighting in the dining room. Dr Phil Hammond’s stand up performance was one to remember and our charity beneficiary of the night Demelza Children’s Hospice went home happy with over £6k raised for their cause.
Client and patrons alike left the event happy and looking forward to the next one!

In June 2013, CFS Events was approached to organise a key celebration for a Corporate Cilent’s employees to celebrate the achievement of a major financial milestone by the Company’s UK Affiliate.
Keeping to a strict budget, but with the luxury of being able to include some exciting treats, CFS Events organised a trip on a vintage Routemaster Bus, a flight on the London Eye, and a visit to an excellent London restaurant for 60 employees.
Delegates were accommodated in a London Hotel, and travel and transfers were managed for the whole group.
Key logistical issues were managed seamlessly from the unpredictability of the London traffic ,to issues surrounding high heels and cocktail dresses in a shower of rain!
Delegates had a wonderful evening, culminating with an address via videolink from the International CEO, allowing him to congratulate the team. This element, although challenging, gave the CFS Events team a chance to shine as a team that puts their name to only top quality events!
